What Are Global Tags? #

Global tags are GHL tags that are applied to every synced contact, regardless of their WordPress role. They are scoped by GHL location.

Use Cases #

  • Tag all contacts from a specific WordPress site (e.g., “Website Member”).
  • Identify contacts by source in a multi-site agency setup.
  • Apply organization-wide tags for GHL workflow triggers.

Configuration #

  1. Go to GHL CRM → Settings → Tags.
  2. Find the Global Tags section (requires Pro).
  3. Select the tags to apply globally.
  4. Click Save.
