The Setup Wizard #
On first activation the plugin redirects you to a guided Setup Wizard that walks you through the essential configuration steps.
Step-by-Step #
- Connect to GoHighLevel — Click the “Connect with GoHighLevel” button to initiate the OAuth2 flow. You’ll be redirected to GoHighLevel to authorize the plugin. Alternatively, enter a manual API token.
- Select Location — If you have multiple GHL locations (sub-accounts), choose which one this WordPress site should connect to.
- Field Mapping — Map your WordPress user fields (name, email, phone, etc.) to the corresponding GHL contact fields.
- Enable User Sync — Turn on automatic user synchronization so new WordPress registrations create GHL contacts.
- Role Tags (optional) — Configure tags to be applied based on WordPress user roles.
- Done! — Your site is now syncing with GoHighLevel.
After the Wizard #
You can access full plugin settings anytime from the GHL CRM menu in your WordPress admin sidebar. The Settings page is a single-page application with tabs for each feature area.
