Connection Troubleshooting

Red connection status on the dashboard

Usually means the OAuth token expired and auto-refresh failed. Fix: go to Settings > Connection and click Reconnect.

OAuth redirect fails or loops

  • Your site is not on HTTPS.
  • A security plugin or WAF is blocking the OAuth callback. Whitelist /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.
  • WordPress address and site address in Settings > General do not match.

Scopes missing after connection

Disconnect and reconnect. GHL will re-authorize with the current scope list.

Circuit breaker active

If token refresh fails 3 times in a row, a 5-minute cooldown activates. Wait 5 minutes then reconnect manually.

Manual token expired

Go to Settings > Connection, enter the new API key, and save.

Checking error details

Go to Syncly > Sync Logs and filter by “failed” status to see API error messages for recent sync attempts.
