API Scope Detection

What scope detection does

When you connect, the plugin automatically probes which GHL API scopes your connection has access to. This determines which features are available. The plugin checks for: contacts, tags, custom fields, custom objects, associations, forms, locations, tasks, and opportunities.

Where to see scope results

Go to Syncly > Settings > Connection. After a successful connection you will see which scopes are available (green) and which are missing (red).

What happens if a scope is missing

  • Missing custom objects: Custom Objects (Pro) will not work.
  • Missing forms: The plugin cannot pull your form list from GHL.
  • Missing opportunities: WooCommerce pipeline features (Pro) will not work.

Admin warning notices appear in the WordPress dashboard when a required scope is missing for an enabled feature.

Fixing missing scopes

Disconnect and reconnect via OAuth2 to re-authorize with the latest permissions, or contact GoHighLevel support to confirm your plan includes that API access.
