Per-Product GHL Tags (Pro)

< 1 min read Updated Jun 6, 2026

Overview

Apply different GHL tags to a customer’s contact record based on which specific product they purchased and which order status triggered the event.

Setting up per-product tags

  1. Open a WooCommerce product in WordPress admin.
  2. Go to the Product data panel and click the GoHighLevel tab.
  3. For each order status (Processing, Completed, Cancelled, etc.), select the GHL tags to apply.
  4. Save the product.

How it works

When an order containing the product reaches the configured status, the plugin looks up the customer’s GHL contact and applies the specified tags. Tags from different products in the same order are all applied together. The plugin tracks which tags have already been applied to prevent duplicates.
