Overview #
Assign GHL tags automatically based on WordPress user roles. When a user is assigned a role, the corresponding tags are applied to their GHL contact. When the role is removed or changed, tags can be automatically removed.
Configuration #
- Go to GHL CRM → Settings → Tags.
- For each WordPress role (Administrator, Editor, Subscriber, etc.), select the GHL tags to apply.
- Enable Auto Apply to automatically tag on role assignment.
- Enable Remove on Change to remove role-specific tags when the user’s role changes.
Registration Tags #
Configure default tags that are applied when any new user registers, regardless of their assigned role.
Bulk Tag Operations #
Use the Bulk Apply or Bulk Remove buttons in the Tags settings to add or remove tags for all users in a specific role. This operation is processed via the Action Scheduler queue for reliability.
